Nozzles and injectors are used in various applications in the industry.

Fuel is injected into engines and NoX reduction systems like AdBlue is used in exhaust systems.

SpraySpy^® characterizes as well such injection systems easily and precise. The spatially resolved information, is used for the development of new injection systems for example or for the set up of numerical simulation models.

Many other industries use nozzles as well for example to coat their products, like the automotive or furniture industry. However, pressured atomization processes tend to run into abrasion of the nozzle. This manipulation of the nozzle has an influence on the spray pattern. This leads to a difference in the coating quality. In order to avoid this frequent quality monitoring can reduce this problem and detect even small changes in the nozzle. The digital spray pattern can be made fully automated and is very easy to use.
