For the 2018 ICLASS Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems in Chicago (July 2018) the TU Darmstadt and AOM-Systems published a paper on the “Light Scattering from a Drop with an Embedded Flake: Application to the Time-Shift Technique”.
This is an especially interesting topic for many applications like the paint coating. With this technology AOM-Systems can answer the question of the flake distribution within the spray cone.
